Julianne M. Ference
Location: Tampa, Florida
Julianne Ference grew up in a small beach town in the Florida Panhandle. She graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 2017 and is a member of the Florida Bar. During her time in Tallahassee, she was a member of the Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law as well as the Military Spouse J.D. Network. Before joining Wenzel Fenton Cabassa in 2019, Julianne worked at a civil defense firm in Panama City. Prior to that, she clerked with the Florida Attorney General’s Office and the 14th Circuit State Attorney’s Office.
Julianne’s passion for law and service to the local community began prior to law school when she worked at a personal injury firm in Pensacola. A colleague there told her that this type of lawyering is the ultimate customer service job, and it is an honor to assist clients through what is often an overwhelming time in their life. After trying on a few different specialties, she is grateful to be back doing plaintiff work for hard-working Florida employees
Julianne is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Walton County Bar Association, The Okaloosa County Bar Association, the Okaloosa Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the Military Spouse J.D. Network. Julianne and her husband spend their free time traveling, going to the beach, or just hanging around the house with their two young children.
